Dr. Wang Jiapei

Dr. Wang Jiapei, born in Daqing of China, is presently Edmonton-based food scientist and developer of Awakening Kefir. He has been researching in Food Science field since 2002, and from 2012 his research has been focusing on ‘the health functional benefits of probiotic food and beverage’. He developed his own products, Awakening Kefir, from 2017, by which he wants to deliver his message to public: as healthy probiotic food and beverage, kefir could also be made very delicious and accepted extensively. Through his products, instead of concerning health issues, he more likes to help to shape the sustainable systemic relationship among human, nature, and food.
